We called everyone to see who we could get out on a Saturday evening so we could stay cool during these hot summer months. DarnoldLyons Heating and Cooling, specifically JR Bishop, saved the day for us. Not only did we get the fastest call back but they were able to get here within the hour- a hard feat when it’s Saturday evening! We really could not be any happier with the service JR provided, he was able to diagnose the problem for us quickly and started with the fix- he even proposed additional prevention to ensure we do not run into this again. We are scheduling that service and are looking forward to JR giving us peace of mind regarding the condenser line going forward. We are in some of the hottest days and months right now, so keeping our house cool and HVAC unit working are top priority for DarnoldLyons and JR- well worth the money to stay cool for the rest of the season and get peace of mind for the future. JR Bishop was incredibly polite, professional, and holds himself to the highest standard by doing things the right way.

As usual DarnoldLyons scheduled promptly. Shout out to JR and his assistant Braylen for quickly assessing our need for additional refrigerant as the solution to our AC concerns. They were respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. When we asked questions he did not have total answer to, he referred us to Grant who came out to answer and give quotes the same day. Also phone issues from last year have been improved with an AI that is actually polite! AI Emily only assists when real human, Tiffany, is on the phone with another customer! We will definitely be repeat customers. # happy customer!

Very good and very prompt service from JR Bishop, he was very fast to solve the problem and didn’t beat around the bush which I appreciated.

A friend referred me to this company because she also had a 5 star experience. They were swift to schedule a technician -in fact, we got same day service. I enjoy visiting with technicians because I always learn something, and talking to Ira was no exception. He arrived when expected, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. Out bill was less than we expected, and the service terrific.

July 4th in Charleston was crazy hot and humid our tenant called and said A/C went out and I was traveling in Alaska in between planes in and out of airplane mode called Darnolds # left a message. Adam called in between walking out to a board the plane lost the call. Landed in Seatle called him back said he would take care of it on a holiday. He let me know AC was good the problem is with the service panel. He knew of an electrician he called him while in flight to California. I landed 2 hours later have a text message from the electrician Doc worked out some details he headed to the property fixed the problem. The Tenant texted me this morning thanking me for Adam coming through and passing the baton to DOC to finish the job. Thanks for taking time from your family on the 250th Anniversary of the 4th of July to help this was all in the PM. I'm glad I bought a home in WV, California needs some Adam's. Thanks Again for everything.

I have used Darnold & Lyons for more than 20 years for my HVAC needs. I have three systems for my home, and they service them twice a year to keep them in good condition. I have had both warranty and off warranty repairs, and replaced one unit entirely in 2022. The technicians are always knowledgeable, prompt, and thorough. The office staff also work with me to schedule regular maintenance and unexpected service calls. I highly recommend Darnold & Lyons. UPDATE: In June 2026 I added A/C in my garage. Beau came the next day, designed a ductless system for my needs, and gave me a very affordable quote the same afternoon. The 6-man crew was scheduled, and efficiently installed the system and cleaned up by 1 pm. It was a great experience and I am really happy with the equipment and the workmanship of the installers. And I have no worries about maintenance. They come twice annually to keep everything in top shape. I've also used Darnold & Lyons for my plumbing needs on numerous occassions and I am always pleased with their service. Whether it is a new installation or fixing some issue with an existing appliance, they are quick to schedule, arrive promptly as promised, and work quickly and accurately. They are my reliable go-to for plumbing.

Had a new HVAC system installed. Beau was great to work with from the Sales team and Randy along with this team provided excellent installation services. Highly recommend!

I called up on a Sunday night when my thermostat went out when it was very hot outside. They answered directly and professionally even though it was late, which I really appreciated. Then I met JR Bishop and his helper Baylen and let me tell you, They. Are. Awesome! They are well-trained and professional, and also really good guys. They took a lot of care in their work, explaining things and getting me the very best deal. I’ve used Darnold before because they’re so dependable, but JR and Baylen made me a customer for life!

I would highly recommend this company, they helped me fix my hvac after another company did not and left me with no air and a overcharged unit . Great customer service and my tech was friendly and was knowledgeable he knew what he was doing and took his time to try to get my problem fixed. They also called and did a follow up to make sure everything was still working. I will stay with this company in the future.
