Zoning systems can help by separating areas of the home and controlling them independently, especially when they are designed properly from the start. However, zoning is not always the best add-on for existing systems.
Once a basement becomes finished living space, comfort issues become much more noticeable. In those cases, zoning or a dedicated system per level can make a big difference in improving comfort throughout the home.
